The Science Behind AEON

High pressure decorative laminate comprises layers of resin-treated papers which are processed under high heat and pressure to create a strong, flexible decorative surface. AEON technology revolutionizes the way we make laminate.

Outperforming the Standard

Laminate with AEON technology outperforms traditional laminate on wear resistance, as well as scratch/scuff/mar resistance. In fact, we had to invent a new testing methodology to illustrate the improvement.

The Designs

AEON Enhanced Performance is standard now on all Wilsonart HD and most Wilsonart Premium designs. Specialty finishes with a higher sheen level have been targeted for the technology because these finishes have been known in the past to cause problems in handling and installation.

AEON technology is available on Wilsonart Laminate Product Types 107, 335, 350 and 366/376.
